Message from Interim Dean Jim Speta Regarding Shannon Bartlett
It is with both sadness and deep appreciation that I write today to share the news that Shannon Bartlett, associate dean of inclusion and engagement, will be leaving the Law School in mid-June. Shannon has accepted a position as National Geographic Society’s inaugural chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer. A lifelong National Geographic magazine reader, this position represents for Shannon an exciting and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with an organization that helped spark the deep intellectual curiosity that characterizes her approach to both the law and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
