Admitted Students Visit Northwestern Law

April 05, 2003

On April 5, 175 admitted students will visit Chicago for Day at Northwestern Law, which gives them the chance to meet with current students, faculty, and administrators, as well as potential classmates.

Designed to better familiarize prospective students with the Law School community, Day at Northwestern Law gives them the chance to meet with current students, faculty, and administrators, as well as potential classmates. The day also coincides with the Law School Advisory Board’s bi-annual meeting, so prospective students may also have the opportunity to meet Northwestern Law alumni who helped to develop the 1998 strategic plan and continue to advise the school on new strategic initiatives.

Current Northwestern Law students worked with the Admissions team to plan the day’s activities which include:

  • A breakfast in which the importance of diversity will be discussed
  • A fair that will provide information about the Center for Career Strategy and Advancement, Housing, Curriculum, the Bluhm Legal Clinic, Student Life, and the JD-MBA program
  • A financial aid workshop
  • Campus tours
  • Small groups of current students speaking about their experiences at Northwestern Law
