International Business Law & Negotiations

DESCRIPTION IBLN is structured around a simulated negotiation exercise in which students from Northwestern Pritzker Law and Tel Aviv University Law School will represent either Malundian Cassava Corporation, an African agricultural production company, or KJH Pharmaceutical Corporation, a U.S. pharmaceutical company. The companies are exploring a collaboration concerning a new technology developed by KJH Pharmaceutical Corporation that uses cassava produced by Malundian Cassava Corporation. The negotiations will take place through written exchanges and live negotiation at Tel Aviv University. TRAVEL INFORMATION Airfare to Israel from Chicago is covered. Students may be responsible for housing costs at Tel Aviv University. Students will be responsible for paying for their own meals and other daily expenses. COURSE DATES Travel dates for the course are TBD. There will be two 3 hour preparation classes in Chicago. Additionally, there will be a mandatory meeting with Northwestern’s Office of Global Safety and Security. Please do not apply for this course if you are unable to commit to the time and travel requirements. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS Interested students may apply for the 3 credit course by submitting an application. Details TBD. There are no prerequisites.
