Free Speech on Campus

The seminar will examine basic principles of freedom of speech under the First Amendment as well as basic principles of academic freedom in higher education with a focus on how they apply on college campuses. The course will focus on the free speech rights of students, faculty, and administrators and whether, when,and how expression can be regulated.
