Healthcare Policy Seminar

Healthcare spending accounts for more than one-sixth of U.S. GDP (and growing), and an even larger fraction of government spending. This seminar aims to enhance students' understanding of the U.S. healthcare system from an empirical perspective. We will therefore spend significant time discussing the empirical evidence and research methods used to examine important questions in health law and policy. The goal is to train students to become savvy consumers of empirical evidence.
