Biography

Rebekah Holman teaches Communication and Legal Reasoning. Before joining the Northwestern Law faculty, Professor Holman served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois and the District of Columbia, where she tried eighteen cases to verdict and briefed and argued cases before the courts of appeal. Prior to serving as an Assistant United States Attorney, Professor Holman was Deputy Associate Chief Counsel at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and taught legal analysis, research and communication at DePaul University Law School. She has an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, and a JD from the University of Chicago, where she was an editor of the University of Chicago Roundtable, an interdisciplinary law journal.
