ACLU: White Supremacy and Law Enforcement Culture

The event aims to explore how the culture of white supremacy influences the actions of individual police officers. We will cover institutional racism within policing itself and how this historically and currently affects law enforcement practices. We will touch on how the majority of officers will conform with the overall culture of their department, simultaneously dispelling the myth that law enforcement issue stem from “just a few bad apples.”
