Biography

Rebecca Rosenberg is a Professor of Practice in the Tax Program. She was previously the Director of the Tax LL.M. program at another law school, and earlier taught tax law in a J.D. program. Before joining academia full time, she taught as an adjunct while practicing tax law in Washington, D.C., focusing on international tax issues. She has previously been a shareholder in a law firm, a partner in an accounting firm, an Assistant to the Branch Chief at the Office of the Associate Chief Counsel (International) at the IRS, and a legislative drafter in the Office of the Legislative Counsel at the House of Representatives. At Northwestern Law, she won the Wootton Award for Teaching Excellence (Tax Program) for the 2023-24 academic year.
